20. GIFT CARDS
Gift cards are sold as a digital product. The code is sent by email to the address given at checkout, once payment is confirmed.
A gift card is valid for one year from the date of purchase. The expiry date is shown on the gift card itself and in the confirmation email. After that date, any remaining balance can no longer be used.
Gift cards can be used on any product in our store, in a single order or across several orders. If the order total is lower than the balance, the remainder stays on the card and can be used again until the expiry date.
Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash, and cannot be reloaded or topped up. They cannot be used to buy another gift card.
If you lose the code, email service@domingo-amberes.com from the address the card was sent to and we will send it again.
Where an order paid for with a gift card is returned, the refund is issued as a new gift card for the amount paid with the original card, valid for one year from the date it is issued. Any part of the order paid by card or Bancontact is refunded to that payment method.
Your statutory right of withdrawal applies to the purchase of an unused gift card: you may cancel within 14 days of purchase and receive a full refund, provided the card has not been used in whole or in part.
